All animal bites involving dogs, cats, raccoons, bats, squirrels and other wildlife that can carry and possibly transmit rabies, should be reported to the Garfield Health Department between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm at (973) 340-3340 or the Garfield Police Department during or after business hours at (973) 478-8500.
