Adult Health Consultation Program
This program provides adults 18 years and over with health screenings and counseling for the prevention and early detection of chronic disease. This service is provided every Tuesday from 9:30AM -12:00PM. No Appointment required.
WIC Nutrition Program Assessments
The WIC program is supplementary nutrition program for women, infants and children who are both nutritionally and financially in-need. Assessments are provided on Tuesdays from 9:30AM – 12:00PM and Thursdays from 1:00PM – 3:00PM Appointment required. www.state.nj.us/health/fhs/wic/
Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program
Free risk assessment and blood screening is provided for children 1-6 years old. All children should be tested for lead at ages one and two. Please call 973 340-3340 for Appointment.
Health Promotion Outreach Program
Comprehensive outreach programs are conducted each year to provide screenings and education for the prevention and early detection of many chronic diseases such as; cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma and others associated with poor nutrition, inadequate physical activity and substance abuse. These programs are sponsored through the Health Department along with our partners. See links for:
