All residents are required to have a Resident Parking Permit on any vehicle owned by them and parked on the street from the hours of 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. See Rules and Regulations and Permit Application by clicking on the links below.
NEW TO THE PARKING STICKER PROGRAM:
A Dwelling Certificate must now be obtain prior to the issuance of a parking sticker for all rentals. This can be obtained in the Fire Prevention Office Located at City Hall. For those who have purchased a home and have obtained a Certificate of Occupancy already, must bring in the Certificate along with other requirements as stated in the regulation.

Our office hours are Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closed from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch.
IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY SITUATION, ARE IN NEED OF A TEMPORARY PARKING STICKER, OR HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTION REGARDING THE PROGRAM, PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL US AT THE NUMBER/EMAIL ADDRESS LISTED ABOVE, AND WE WILL TRY AND HELP YOU THE BEST THAT WE CAN.
If you are having a visitor or are staying for the weekend, a courtesy can be obtained from the Garfield Police Station by calling each night the person stays over @973-478-8500.
