Jack Van Wycke Det. Edward Mucha The Garfield Police Department Records Division handles all documentation of incoming and outgoing reports and records. All reports will be avaible after 5 busniess days Garfield Police Department does not fingerprint for immigration or education employment. All other fingerprinting will be done by appointment only. Firearm applications will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays only between the hours of 9am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 3pm. New Open Public Records Act (OPRA) takes effect July 8th, 2002 The Garfield Police Department is complying with the new OPRA Law that has gone into effect throughout the State of New Jersey.
